Rules and Etiquette

  • At Lykens Valley Golf Course your business is appreciated. To have all aspects of your golfing experience run smoothly is very important to us, therefore, following our golf rules and etiquette is expected from all golfers.

  • Lykens Valley Golf Course is private property and any abuse of the course or facilities will not be tolerated. Golfers may be asked to leave the premises at the discretion of the Lykens Valley staff.

  • Lykens Valley Golf Course reserves the right to cancel or suspend playing privileges without refund to anyone or the entire group for violation of any of the stated rules or for any action which is abusive or offensive to the property and well being of the course.

  • All golfers will be held responsible for any personal injury or material damage caused by their actions or equipment while at Lykens Valley Golf Course.

  • Everyone needs a tee time and must check in with the Pro Shop upon arrival. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY WITHOUT A TEE TIME FROM THE PRO SHOP

  • Each individual operating a golf cart must be at least 16 years of age and will be held responsible for any damages done to the cart. You will be required to pay for the damages. There is to be only two people on a golf cart at any time.

  • Each golfer must have his or her own set of golf clubs.

  • Golfers must dress in industry approved golf attire. Tee shirts are permissible as long as they are not offensive. No tank tops, strapless tops, or bathing suit tops are permitted. WE ARE A SOFT SPIKE FACILITY. NO METAL SPIKES PERMITTED

  • In accordance with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, all alcohol must be purchased through Lykens Valley Golf Course. Ice coolers are not permitted on the course. Beer bags are available at the club house. Please do not embarrass yourself or your group by bringing any outside alcohol or coolers to the course.

  • It is the golfers responsibility to keep the course in good condition by repairing ball marks, replacing divots, raking sand traps, placing garbage in receptacles, keeping cars at least thirty feet away from greens and on cart paths. Push carts need to be kept off of fringe areas and at a safe distance from the greens and sand traps.

NO EXCEPTIONS
